father's day

Happy Father's Day!

went with parents to Gold Leaf
which is a cantonese yum cha place which has restaurants at Burwood, Springvale and Docklands

personally i like the Springvale branch myself
they put the yum in 'yum cha!'
haha sometimes i m so witty i kill myself.

we went early and maybe because of that the service was good
surprisingly.
it seems most yum cha places pride themselves on substandard service
(hello sharkfin inn)
but this one was very different.

all in all we had a very nice time
before dad flies off again tomorrow

UBER DROOLLLLLLLLL. droolicious! i had to make up a word for this dish because its so good! dont usually have it because of animal rights etc, but this time i had to. with heaps of vinegar, the way i like it.

soup: macro function on my camera is spoilt right! why so fuzzy?!

one of my many weaknesses. egg tarts. luckily it wasnt the portugeuse type (browned on the outside creme brulee style), if not i would have had at least 2 more! or 5! hehe

i like this but i never know what its called, and ordering the dessert that looks like 'a pair of boobs' doesnt quite cut it. so imagine how happy i was today that we ordered some! has some concoction of brown sugar, coconut and peanut stuffed inside. yums! :D

my diet is shot to pieces
but whatever, its winter, no one can tell when i put my coat on!

i m so excited about this momentous occassion i ve got two Tattslotto cards to fill out after my paper, so maybe my good luck will rub off.
