i m missing singapore food!

was looking through my photos, and decided to share some

i miss Forlino at one Fullerton
it was such a good night out. 8.5/10 :D
the place had everything i like in my restaurants
good food, view, wine list and of course
stellar company
hehe
service in melbourne is better though.

as lee so rightly pointed out
french food is very hit and miss,
so we went for italian instead.
good decision lee!

piedmonte veal ravioli and some really good muscato wine, unfortunately i forgot the vintage

lee with amuse bouche, clare with the beef carpaccio, and i had the home cured meat platter

lee's really good green pasta. what was it again, pesto?

chocolate and hazelnut mousse with mascarpone cheese. clare and lee had their panna cotta. as usual. :D

Clare is wearing hervelvetvase grey satin work pants, white top (m)phosis?), Chanel and Gucci necklaces, and carrying a Loewe bag. Lee is wearing a CK top (i think?), hot sparkly Superfine jeans, Louboutins and a navy Chanel 2.55.

there was an accident with my shirt. i washed them with colored clothes, and it is now what my dad proclaims as a 'dead rat' colour.

lunched at Mimolette, which was near Bukit Timah Saddle club
didnt like the food. 2/10?
clare's scones were like hard powdery stones
and my sausage tasted like Deb mush.
yeeuch.

though lee liked her crepes du jour






dont know any good german restaurants in Melbourne
but Brotzeit near Raffles city in Singapore is not bad at all

huge 1 litre beer mugs with with one of my favourites, Paulaner Hefe-Weizen. super sweet and crisp!



and awesome goulash


of course, how can i not proclaim to the heavens
what i ve eaten almost every weekday
since i was 7, right through till 15?

i need to tighten my belt and start saving $ because no matter what the government says
(dare i say it)
we are soooo in a recession
and saving $ is always a good thing

but i think eating out is something i cant ever give up
to be honest, i can live with that
