i spent the whole of today feeling very sorry for myself
unproductive yes
but its one of those moods you cant really shake off but have to sit it out
i woke up from a dream this morning
i hadnt had it for close to a year now
but then it was so tantalisingly familiar
and kinda saddening as well
its torturing me with something i can never get
tempting me to give everything up
bahh
what can you do
when you cant even get proper respite in your sleep
then i was plagued by this feeling of ennui the entire day
what if there's one only person for you in this world
and you've already screwed everything up
by not trying hard enough when you had the chance?

how can i just let you walk in and out of my life like that
shouldnt there be barriers or something i put up

i m going to take a xanax and hop into bed
today has been a total waste

i strongly suspect i m crazy
not in the good way

if i were a boy
i was inspired by one of galadarling's latest posts.
she asked: 'What would you be like if you were a member of the opposite sex?'
so i hit up polyvore.
somewhere along the line, it became a merger of the image of my perfect guy and what i would be like if i were one. see if you can tell which is which!
if i were a boy, i would be a ladies man and pride myself on knowing what girls want. i would open doors, pull out chairs and send friends home all the time, and enjoy doing it! i would pay any amount of money for a great haircut and revel in styling my hair everyday with gatsby wax. i would play basketball/golf avidly, love foreign language films and eat out all the time. My career would probably be in graphic design, business or the literary field. i would love shopping, and spend all my money on well cut shirts with unique prints and details like ruffles and french cuffs. my mother wouldnt buy any of my clothes but my underwear. I would see nothing wrong with wearing a bow tie out in the day, and in fact, often do. I always wear a great belt cause if someone's attention is in that area, i want the impression to be good! i would wear a superman tee carefully hidden under my shirt because it makes me feel like clark kent. i would have a penchant for fresh cut flowers and have a thing against carrying bags. thus, i would have a great wallet and that would be all i need. i would either ride or dream of riding a motorbike.

went w kat to buy cupcakes today

brought my camera to uni, so took a few pictures here and there
this picture pretty much sums up my day

really should have dressed this up with a scarf or fedora, but woke up late in the morning so had to get ready in 10 mins

why, chanel, why?
melbourne university has started after mid-sem break
my social life is officially dead again.
wanted to go to the Jeanswest Charity Tees Launch this afternoon and rub shoulders with Alannah Hill and Terry Biviano, but i had to go in for clinic sessions and probe teeth.

the only highlight so far has been a lovely australia post package sent express to my doorstep this morning
which when i opened,
revealed kevin murphy products sent for me!
fresh.hair, angel.hair, luxury.wash etc
what a surprise hehe :)
undertow media, the PR company, is really quite impressive.
i do so love fresh.hair!
spent 3 hrs on the phone with clare
stupid woman spent so much time ringing up Paris and Shibuya chasing down the ivory Chanel 2.55 she wants to buy, she could finish off a whole new assignment in that time.
hehe just kidding dear.

and, it is totally drool worthy.
clare told me some bad news i absolutely have to share
as of 1st november 2008, Chanel stores worldwide are introducing a 20% price hike on all goods.
AAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
it must be the asian blood in me thats making me want to run out and buy all the Chanel i can lay my hands on before this happens.

bye bye boucle jacket. with a price hike of 20%, the price tag is now AU$12,000. it ll be some time before i give you a nice home.

its no blazer jacket, but its kinda cute

but because of a whole sleeping-late, parents-taking-out-all-the-cars fiasco
ended up taking a cab with clare to doncaster
reached at 3pm, just when it was ending
apparently it was pretty yummy though!
bri just got back from sydney yesterday, and she brought back cupcakes from the Little Cupcakes there.

hit up the Singapore day festivities at Sydney Myer Asia Bowl today
it was pretty good for a free event
and phua chu kang made an appearance (lol!)
but the queues were so massively long they were a major damper.
we queued for about 45 minutes to get in, and another hour for some food.
i bet the organisers didnt expect so many people
the crowd was huge!
but it was kind of nice seeing so many people at the day i hadnt seen in ages

a chiffon blouse from trent nathan, black shorts, chanel bag, gladiator sandals by Peter Sheppard (this was a limited release from about 3 years ago, who knew they would be in again?)
i really should have worn a headband cause it would have finished off the outfit rather well, but overslept this morning so i forgot to grab it on the way out.
went shopping for a bit after sg day
clare and i couldnt resist the call of mid season sales
might wear my new top tomorrow when i go to plume for lunch

i had such a good time at his launch!
such gorgeous canapes too
surprise surprise i didnt turn up in any of the outfits i had planned previously
i was running late, so i didnt even get my hair done
i just hairsprayed and hit the door, luckily traffic was a smooth as whiskey
30 yr scotch blended Ballantines in my coffee. yummm
alco much? lol
i kid i kid.
miami blazer, satin jumpsuit from sydney's bondi markets, ann taylor loft skirt, chanel ring, gold chain and shoes by rubi
i m obsessed with those Siren shoes, i want them so badly i was tempted to kneel at the model's feet to check them out
he kindly let me interview him, and when i write up the article i ll share his golden hair tips!
i wish i didnt have uni anymore
so i can put my name down for every single event i can attend
