Went to WabiSabi Gardens on thursday night for a japanese dinner
on St Kilda road
have been wanting to try this place for sometime now
and glad i did
the atmosphere was very quirky
huge tree in the centre of the dining area with red lanterns
and little kitsch mirrors hanging off the walls
tofu entree with mountain veg
i loved the tapas, especially the fried lotus root, and heavily smoked sushi, yum!
huge main, teriyaki chicken
cutest courtyard
helped out at the Health Expo for Melbourne Uni on Friday.
was interesting because i didnt know much about the new Melbourne Model, given we're not affected,
but soon learnt. still undecided if its an improvement or not.
Guess only time will tell at this point!
Drinks and dumplings!

Bistro Vue with my super friends. so filled with love right now! i think its Jason's perfume which he sprayed in my room, olfactory senses tingling which is in turn making me think of them.
love
foie gras and quail
chocolate souffle
tarte tartin. which i will forever associate with bri. miss you
had them over again for dinner yesterday night
had a Vietnamese themed party
made pho
and dug out the china tea cups and chopsticks
pho base! whole soup chicken, cinnamon, sesame oil, dates, herbs, onion, salt, pepper on the stove for 5 hrs on a slow simmer
with rice noodle, meatballs (ridiculously easy to make with minced beef, sesame oil, salt, pepper and TianJin preserved veg), asian mint, chilli, pickled onion, and lemon
okay i can hardly keep my eyes open. i ll update again later!
