phoam

had the degustation at Koots for dad's birthday
was great till it became nighttime and all the mosquitoes came out

if you ever want to try Koots for dinner, the indoor tables are the best.
love Koots though, its like the kind of restuarant i would love to own
food is yummy, decor and winelist is also up there, but it doesnt have a huge commercialized vibe

kinda like Hanabishi, but french

St Helen's oysters served 3 ways, the wasabi mayo is so good i came home and tried to create my own, but failed :(

heritage vegetables, white asparagus, and proscuitto. and chanterelle mushrooms!!!

quinoa salad and grilled salmon. salmon was perfect, just cooked enough to be flaky and crisp but raw inside
pork belly. not a fan, but thats just my things about all pork belly dishes in general

the champange granita was pretty good, but the best was the salted caramel and butter foam inside the wafer. YUMMMMMMMMS.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD :)

going to combine the above post with the one about foam party
they were on completely seperate nights,
and there is no connection at all
except,
i love eating out
and i love foam parties

PHOOOOOOOOOAMMMMMMMMMMM
:D

hehehehe
