the only highlight so far has been a lovely australia post package sent express to my doorstep this morning

what a surprise hehe :)
undertow media, the PR company, is really quite impressive.
i do so love fresh.hair!

spent 3 hrs on the phone with clare
stupid woman spent so much time ringing up Paris and Shibuya chasing down the ivory Chanel 2.55 she wants to buy, she could finish off a whole new assignment in that time.

clare told me some bad news i absolutely have to share

as of 1st november 2008, Chanel stores worldwide are introducing a 20% price hike on all goods.

AAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
it must be the asian blood in me thats making me want to run out and buy all the Chanel i can lay my hands on before this happens.

sigh
bye bye boucle jacket. with a price hike of 20%, the price tag is now AU$12,000. it ll be some time before i give you a nice home.

bri just got back from sydney yesterday, and she brought back cupcakes from the Little Cupcakes there.

went over to kat's place after to chill out by the pool and bask in the sun


had some really sweet muscat-like sparking wine. tasted like a mix between champange and dessert wine, with a fruity cranberry aftertaste. yum!

Bri also bought me earrings from sydney. i love them! perfect length and color and weight. gorgeous :) ty maggoty dear!

hit up the Singapore day festivities at Sydney Myer Asia Bowl today
it was pretty good for a free event
and phua chu kang made an appearance (lol!)
but the queues were so massively long they were a major damper.

we queued for about 45 minutes to get in, and another hour for some food.
i bet the organisers didnt expect so many people
the crowd was huge!

but it was kind of nice seeing so many people at the day i hadnt seen in ages
